Hello,
I have used some of the helpful diet plans in this forum, and have had success. I recently took a break from my dieting, and indulged. I am thinking of taking an Adkins approach to lose 10-12 lbs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have never done adkins, and would like some input on anyone who has. Possitive and negative feedback welcome

Fitdude,
Its been awhile since I logged on but your question interested me. In my opinion, if you had success with your previous meal planning from BI, then stick with it. As far as the Adkins diet, there are so many factors involved and as far as the balancing of macro nutrients that BI meal plans provide, I feel the BI plans are much more effective and proven for long term results than using other diets that were actually designed for a specific purpose.

In other words, if something worked for you as you mentioned in the past, then why change?

Take Care and good luck with your fitness goals.
