Using Whole Wheat Flour

Hey I made the carb loading bread(yam, banana oats) but I was wondering if anyone knows why I couldn't subisitute some whole wheat flour for some of the oats? show in 7 wks just looking for advice?

This is my guess....

The whole wheat flour has been processed just like the white flour. How much fiber is in the whole wheat vs. white flour? I am guessing they are pretty close.

Oatmeal has less of an effect on insulin due to the amount of fiber in it.

Some are allergic to wheat as well. This may or may not impact condition in a negative way.

The oats, banana, and sweet potato is tried and true.

I'm probably too late on this one, but for future reference. I blend my oatmeal really fine in the blender before making US pancakes. This makes them much more palatable. You might try this in place of the wheat flour.
