Hey I was wondering if anyone has done this type of diet. for my 2-4 meals it calls for 12oz of roast beef I substitute 90% beef(1.88/pd- compared to 6.99 for roast beef) but I worry especially with all the studies on red meat and colon cancer etc. It is only designed for 4 weeks and is for a mass gain. Any input would be great I mean most of this studies are done on people who have no activity level.

If colon health is a concern (it should be). Then do colon cleanse once every season, for a week or so. You may want to do a full 30 day one if you've never done it before. It will make a difference in your overall health. If you're getting enough fiber each day and also do this type of cleanse seasonally it will help ward off the problems you're referring to.

There was one in a martial arts mag that required 35 feet of cheesecloth for an internal cleanse.
I don't even want to go there. ROFL. I'm sure you're going to get some input on this output situation. I think there were a few people that tried the contest diet all year long for several years and ran into problems. Personally, I didn't have any problems until the final week when I was doing the dehydration caveman method. That was horrible. That's really been the only time I have had any kind of problem, red meat or not. In fact, I was on chicken and fish. Frank |
