Hello everyone! My name is Kyle I am a 19 year old male who trains in mma and need some help with my diet and supplements.

First let me give you a rundown of my training and suchfourth.
Mon - Fri 7:30-10 mma(a mix of thai kickboxing , bjj, and wrestling.)

Mon, Tues, Thurs lifting ( chest arms, legs, back shoulders.)

FUTURE: Now that I am about six months out from my first fight I will be adding sprint training on Thursday/Saturday in the AM.

Diet: When I was bulking from 17-late 18 I pretty much saw it and I ate it. Now my diet really wasnt that clean but I did gain alot of strength and weight 190 to 220 over that peroid. I would get up and make a shake of whey, fruit, oatmeal and flxseed then eat as often as I could inbetween school/work. PWO I would take two scoops of Optimum whey and fruit. On weekends I would usually go nuts and not really care what I ate at all.
NOW: Not much has changed besides eating more veggies and taking bcaa's/glutamine mix during training.

My goal: First and foremost I want to get on a diet/supplement routine that is realistic with my budget(I am in college). But at the same time allows me to loose that extra bf to get down to around 200 without loosing lean mass. And of course I must be able to perform and bust it out for those 2-2.5 hours a night of mma.

My stats: 19/m/6ft/220 pounds 16% bf. A perfect budget for me would be about 100-115$ / month on supplements maybe some over that if need be(I buy supplements from dpsnutrition so 2x tubs of protien=around 70). THANK YOU for reading this long post and hopefully I provided enough of a picture for everyone to help me out!

Dokken,

If you're looking to lean out while keeping muscle, I'd recommend this diet that Sandy from Beverly sent me:

http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dv34bp4_3hmmv5p

I used it from 1/2/07 through 3/10/07 and dropped from 215.5 lbs to 202.5 lbs. The weights I lifted in the gym mostly stayed the same, some even improved.

I'm 26/m/5'11". My metabolism is likely slower than yours due to age, and also note that I'm not training as hard as you. You may need more calories (particularly carbs). During this diet, I lifted 4x a week and did 20mins of cardio 3x a week.

Best of luck,

Matt
