Some days I do cardio after work before I eat dinner and I take muscle mass before and after cardio. Wednesday night I had baked Salmon in the oven while I was doing my cardio and after I finished the cardio I questioned whether or not I should be eating salmon after doing an HIIT session and taking BCAA's since the salmon is high in fat. I like to have salmon at least once a week but I wasn't sure if this is an appropriate meal for an after cardio session. I did eat it because I didn't want to waste it and I hate left over fish. Please let me know what you all think.

I dont think there's any problem with eating salmon after cardio training. When i perform HIIT cardio, i eat, or drink, whatever meal is next in line. If it has a higher level of fat than my other meals, no problem.
My main concern with the post-cardio meal is that i consume it as soon as possible following my HIIT session. "Recipe for Success: Study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing; prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are wishing." |
