Where you have the most control. The least amount it is processed, the better. I say, if you can pull it off the bone, that's the better choice, whole meat slabs (no bone) or parts. Frozen is second choice, but:
Ground, patties or deli. No.

Usually fresh breast is better. Typically the frozen variety are "real" breast chunks, but also are flash frozen after they are heavily preserved... this means that they are introduced into a solution of SALTS before they are frozen. Just one 4oz. breast chunk has about 400-500 miligrams of sodium!
Generally, who cares right? I know, I don't really care either, unless it is the week of a show/competition! Don't be using the frozen kind the week before a contest unless you want to be fighting subcutaneous water bloat!
Other than that, sodium never killed anybody, and contrary to popular medical belief.... DIETARY SODIUM DOES NOT CAUSE HYPERTENSTION!

also, I just have to add.... i hate chicken breast. I never ever cook it right, it tastes bland, I am terrible at dressing it correctly, it is inconvenient for me... I hate chicken breast. It is awesome if someone else prepares them for me though!? But honestly, I would rather eat tuna right out of the can instead of eating a big chicken breast.... and I despise Tuna!
