Hello everyone,
Recently I have changed my workout routine to a PM workout around 5pm. In the past I have always worked out first thing in the morning then had my post workout shake followed by my first meal of protein and carbs1/2 cup whole oats). Then around three hours later I have my second meal of protein and carbs (1/2 cup whole oats). The remainder of the day I eat only green veggies with my meals. Now that I have switched to an evening workout should I also switch one of my carb meals to after my workout?
Such as:
AM Cardio 45min
Meal 1:
5oz lean beef
1/2 cup oats
Meal 2:
6oz lean meat
2 cup veggies
Meal 3
6oz lean meat
2 cup veggies
Workout
5:15pm to 6:30 30 min post workout cardio
Post Workout shake
2sc MP
8:00PM
8oz lean meat
1/2 cup oats or 6oz sweet potato
10:00PM
6 egg whites,2 whole eggs,1tbs flax

What do you guys think? I am preparing for a powermeet on October 11th. Working to lose some fat to meet the weight cut off. I am currently 190 and I want to try to be at 181 by the time of the meet. Thus the additonal cardio.

Any advice is appreciated.

Shorty...since noone is replying here...I thought Id give my opinion...I would keep the oats in the morning...keep the afternoon the same...add as a post workout shake...2MP and 2-3MM and then drop the oats at the 8:00PM meal for broccoli or asparagus or a can of green beans...meal 10:00PM Id make 8-10 whites and just 3 flax caps, so way less fat. I think you will lose fat and hold the muscle better. Oats at night seems to make me a little softer. Either way I think you will be able to drop 9 lbs by October. Good luck,

JT--
