Hi! Just wondering-does anyone supplement with flaxseed oil? It was not on my diet plan but I have been using it up until now? How much? Is it best to drink a liquid supplement meal after lifting and/or cardio? Just wanted to see if anyone could help me out!!!! Thanks so much! Sherry
what types of fats are on your diet? Do they have you using heavy cream? I would assume its either cream or flax caps at breakfast and dinner. But, Ive seen plans with just egg yellow fat and fat from the beef at meal 5. These work too, and I wouldnt stray too much. If you really want to include EFAs email the person you are in contact with and see if three caps at breakfast and three caps at dinner would be a problem, I doubt it would be.
But yes, I use flax oil. EFAs are essential IMO for a balanced healthy diet. Not to mention for hormone production etc.
Now you mentioned liquid meals and post training. For post training you will want Muscle Provider and no fats. Depending on your plan you may have strawberries or Mass Maker, Im not sure what plan you are on. I usually do my cardio, if any, on days I train, so right after Im drinking my post training shake. But if you do it on separate days I think whatever meal is next should be fine.
Hey Jason! Thanks so much! I am doing my cardio in the morning and my weights at night. I would guess it is ok to take a solid meal after cardio and a shake after lifting? The only fat I am getting in my program is the one egg yolk and some flax supplement in the multivitamins I am taking as well as any lean beef I may have. I just want to make sure I am getting enough fat. Thanks again!!! Sherry
