Hello out there. As a new member here and new at the gym i have a lot of questions. I have about a year of training under my belt and my diet advice has been as follows. I'm 52, male, 235 pounds and my body fat is about 30% i'm in good health have high blood preasure and take meds for that. I Eat 6 times daily, egg whites, lean chicken, beef, protein shakes, fish, green vegetables and some carbs. Potatos, brown rice and oatmeal. I train 3 or 4 times a week mostly weights.My question is, what if any other supplements might I need to help lose body fat and gain muscle? is it possible to make significant gains at my age. I now take a multi vitamin,protein shakes, omega 3,3,9 in. both in the form of marine and flax. Should I add cardio? Beverly products come highly recomended but what might be best for me is confusing. Thanks so much.
