substituting eggs for lean meat.

Due to financial reasons I have recently tried to substitute eggs for lean meat. I am unsure of the correct conversion on this so I would appreciate any help I can get. 12oz. lean meat would equal how many egg whites???????

It's about 6-7 g's per oz. depending on the lean meat, X 12 = 72-84 g 's of protein, and you get about 3 g's per egg white, or 28 egg whites = 84 g's of protein. Lean chicken breast can be found and be very cheap if you buy it on sale.

Seriously, Depending where you live, grab a fishing rod or find a butcher that sells meat that's beyond their sell date.
