As of Sunday I switch to 3rd shift 6pm - 6am. Can I eat my 1/2 a cup oatmeal with protien and then go to sleep? Will it be stored as fat?

If you could post all your meals from the time you wake to the time you go to bed, that would help us give you a much better answer.

Just switch everything to "normal" for that shift. Breakfast is Meal #1 at 5PM. When you get off work, Meal #5 or #6 is Dinner. Breakfast is not AM, but after you awake. I've worked all shifts and that's how I kept sanity. Wink

I used to work those exact same hours of 6pm-6am. I would do just what Frank is saying and keep my meals in the same order even though the hour of the day was different. No matter what time I awake from my bed, I always consider that meal my breakfast and eat my eggs Smile

while at work it wouldn't be a problem getting all my meals in. I sneek what i need in the jail. I'm an Corrections Officer. My main concern is getting leaner, more define abs. Can't seem to get there? People say why if your not doing a show.

Obviously, you're trying to get lean, is weight an issue? Are you considering more weight/lean masss? In other words, is 150 lbs out of the question, regardless?

Make more variety in your food selection. Switch from chicken to beef, 1:1 ratio. Use 96% lean.

Shift from egg whites only to an occasional 2 whole eggs with a meat for Meal #1.

Dinner, have a steak, salmon, or even a shellfish.

Vary your fruits and veggies, too. Good fruits would include, apples, grapefruit, berries and on the moderate side, melons, papaya, etc. The not so good (sugar/calorie wise for fatloss) oranges, pears, grapes, bananas, and plums.

Overall, it depends what you are going to do. Higher calorie foods can be fuel for heavy work, heavy play, etc. Plan.
