Ok where do I start. I'm not a body builder or anything, but I need to get some help to be healthier.

3 years ago I use to work out 5-6 days a week and I was in pretty good shape. I weighed about 215-225 lbs. I got married.... and I got LAZY. Im now at 325 lbs and not happy about that. I need to get my life back on track.

I've tried to "diet" but I always end up failing because I don't have a real plan. I'm joining a gym and plan to work out 5 days a week after work. I'm ready for this.

I need some advise on what supplements I should take. I was taking Beverly International stuff 3 years ago when I was working out and I really liked it. I'm not sure my budget can afford to take ALL the things I did then. What would you suggest for weight loss? I was thinking about the Lean Out and 7-Keto together.

Other than that I just need a plan for my meals. Can anyone help me? Of course I would like to lose the weight as quick as possible, but I know this will take some time. I just want to eat the right things to get the best results. I'm not looking to bulk up, just looking to lose the fat and tone up.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks
Nathan

Ok after reading more on this forum I am aware you are going to probably ask what my current diet is. Well..... it sucks (obviously at 100lbs later!)

Pretty much what ever I find when its time to eat. I use to do the fast food a lot, but not any more. I need to know what I should be eating to reach my goals!

Thanks again
Nathan

man you are a big boy so you are going to need to eat a lot even when trying to cut fat.

I assume since you are on a bodybuilding board you want to do this the right way and not just crash diet. In other words preserve lean tissue and cut the fat.

This will take time our way, but you will be healthy and look great if you can push through.

Ive worked with many in your position, some had kidney stones, others borderline diabetics, etc. It can be fixed and diet is numero uno along with weight training and cardio.

Could you get your bodyfat tested?

You are going to need to learn to graze instead of overeat a few meals, 6 quality meals througout the day, comprised of quality proteins, low glycemic carbs for the most part and some healthy fats.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply Jason.

Yes I am serious about this. Its not just to look better, but I want to feel better and be healthy. I've only got one body and one life and I want to make the best of it.

I want the challange and I am up for anything that you guys can throw at me. You said it best when you said that I want to do this "the right way." I've failed too many times in the past from doing it the wrong way and crash and burning.

I understand that it could take some time to put something together for me. I will wait for your reply.

- Where can I get bodyfat tested?

Thanks agian,
Nathan

Dex, J will set you up with a really great and clean diet that should be VERY easy to follow. You have to stick to it, and eat accordingly cuz no matter what supplements you take, if your diet is **** you won't lose an ounce of fat. Diet is Number 1 no matter what!

That being said, it would be a good idea to throw in 2 caps of Lean Out with EVERY meal. I wouldn't do the 7-Keto just yet. Super Pak is a must for efficient micronutrient intake. As far as protein powders UMP is the best I've found, although I don't think J will have you doing many if any shakes. Whole food is always the better option anyhow.

You are a big boy, and it will take some time, but give yourself at least 5-6 months. Fall into routine. It is more than just dedication, it is a CHANGE in lifestyle. I hope your wife understands that, because she will play a role in this also.

You belong to a gym? They usually have a hand held device, its not super accurate, but its still close enough for us to give you a general eating plan.
