1. what is a decent amount of cardio to do daily to not lose muscle?

2. Water....I hate it advice on how to drink more?

3. Has anyone tried the beverly fat loss diet, if so how long, what were the pounds lost per week?

1. I've always read that you do not want to exceed 60 minutes per day. Most of the show prep routines I've looked at actually start at 20 minutes per day and go up from there if needed. If you want to build muscle I would suggest starting out at 20 minutes, or just follow the beverly plan for figure. Also, the stricter you diet, the less cardio you have to do.

2. I like buying gallon jugs of spring water and drinking straight from the jug. I make it goal to finish the jug each day. It's much easier to keep track of the water when you are using a gallon container, and the spring water taste better to me. I also prefer drinking it at room temperature.

3. I haven't used the fat loss diet you speak of, but I've followed several beverly diets to a T. They work exactly as advertised if you do it correctly. It's good stuff.
