As long as you are having the carb meals every third or fourth evening you will be fine. Depending on how fast you want change you can ever stray a bit from the sweet potato, oatmeal and banana. I often do this with people that are not competing but wish to drop bodyfat. They respond well and are happy. Now if you are competing things are a bit different. The meals should be a bit more structured (sp, oats, banana, etc). Because of travel I have my carb meals on Wed and Sat, this is precomp. Yes I am preparing for a show. School is done in two and a half weeks and then I was going to go back to the Mon/Thurs carb meal as I can afford to be brain dead then....ha. I am currently doing German Volume Training 2000 and it is rocking to be honest, have seen some good gains. Supplements I'm taking are pyruvate (i know effectivness is debateable), Mass Aminos, Glutamine, and Ultra 40 (I love to chew this things ha). I haven't started to do any cardio yet as I'm quite aways out and want to let the diet work. I am actually considering doing some comps back to back....Mid August and Mid Sept, bad idea? | ||

Hawkeye- "Ultra 40 (I love to chew this things ha)." I just tried chewing 1 ultra 40; it was the worst thing I think i've ever tasted. I don't know how you do it. Good luck with the diet/shows. -Trojan | ||

hahaha.......I guess it is probably an acquired tast. I will tell you this though, do not, I repeat do not, even try to chew the Mass Aminos! Worst tasting thing ever. Actually I first got the idea from reading NNN, I believe it was JTheo, so you actually have him to thank. Mike | ||
