Most of the Bev diets call for 5 to 10 oz beef with breakfast and dinner. How are most folks doing this? Are you just cooking up some lean beef and eating it with your eggs? Are you seasoning it in some way?

For breakfast if im at work I will eat beefcakes, but if I'm at home I will make an omellete. For dinner I will usually make a beef salad.

I usually have it for breakfast, or with my last meal. I usually get the lean ground beef, spray a pan with PAM, cook the meat, and somtimes a little Tony Sacharies(spelling?), or Lower Sodium Taco Seasoning comes to join the party Wink. If I have it for breakfast though, I prefer it omlette style, with mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions.

For myself, I cook my beef one week ahead of time and weigh my meal portions out and store them in the freezer. So, when I add eggs to my meal....I ccok trhe eggs then take the beef out of the freezer and defrost it and then add the two together.

I usually add salsa or taco seasoning to my meals.

I don't think you have to eat beef for breakfast if it's listed as meal one. If meal two is a protein shake, then you could drink it for breakfast and eat the beef meal for lunch (actual meal 2). Eating beef first thing in the morning is never easy for me. So I drink the shake for breakfast, with my morning coffee at work and eat the beef for lunch. I usually eat lean roast for my beef meals. I buy a lean eye of round roast and cook it over night in a crock pot. Then cut thick slices off for my meals. In the offseason I'll use a little A1 steak sauce (yummy), but precontest I use Worchestershire sauce.
