Need help!! doing a show May 30th. Started dieting in Feb. Started at 129 am now 119. My top half is pretty lean, but would like my legs a little leaner. Cannot seem to loose any more weight. I have been at 119 for about 3 weeks. I have been doing Beverly diet plan. Which is new for me. Dont know if I should add more cardio (which I hate) or cut more carbs. do not want to look too carb depleted. Any suggestions

1st meal 1/2 c. oatmeal 5 egg whites or 4 whites and 1 yolk 1/2 grapefruit

2nd shake (ump) 2 scoops

3rd chicken tuna or turkey 4oz with 1 cup veggies and 1/2 brown rice or sweet potatoe

4th shake (ump) 2 scoops

5th chicken tuna or turkey 4oz with 2 cups veggies veggies are usually green beans asparagus or spinach.

6th meal if working out at night will have a shake if not will have 5-6 egg whites

Forgot to mention I compete in figure. Supplements are super pak, glutamine select, Mass, ultra 40, and flax seed oil. and protein.

On mondays and thursdays I was taking out the carbs in Meal 1 and 3 and doing a carb load meal at end of day, (meal 5, no meal six.)
Carb load meal was 1 cup oatmeal, 6oz. sweet potatoe, 1tbsp almond butter and 4oz banana.

I hope this makes sense.

Don't do that. That is a mistake. GET YOUR CARB IN AT ALL THE MEALS THAT YOU SCHEDULED! Even with your 2wice weekly carb up.

Look you are obviously doing a 50/20/30 type diet. Thats fine. It probably works for you. But you aren't giving yourself a lot to work with as far as giving yourself a deficit. You may have to drop some cals from either protein or from your fats. How many grams of fat are you getting in a day? That could be a problem right there. You supplement with "flax oil" but how is that used in your diet?

If you want to get your legs leaner (believe me, I know ALL about that Wink), you are going to have to create a little more of a deficit with either your diet or with your training. I would go for the latter. What is your training like?? You may just have to indulge in some more HIIT Cardio to burn the fat off those wheels. Post your training.

My diet is not so great after all!!!!!!!! There are days I am getting over 30 gr. of fat, and some days its under 20. As far as my training I will admit I am only doing 30 mins. of cardio 4 days a week. Its not really high intesity. Its either treadmill or elliptical. I weight train legs twice a week. Wed and Sun. The front of my legs always look much leaner than the back! Thanks so much for your input. It looks like Im a train wreck!!!

ok, so then you can only drop your cals from Protein. Go ahead and drop the MASS from your diet. That should create a deficit for ya. At the same time, do 20-30 mins of HIIT cardio 3-4X a week either after you lift or on your "off Days".

Also, I would start doing 30 mins of Low intensity cardio first thing in the morning, EVERY morning, on an empty stomach. It sounds like you just need to work harder.
