Over the past 11 months I have dropped a massive amount of weight and now I have too much extra skin around my midsection. What should I do to tighten/eliminate this? My waist has gone from 42 to 32 but I'm still not excessively tight, nor do I have the six pack that I'm after. I know that I could do more cardio and situps, but are there any supplements/lotions that would aid in tightening the midsection?
Congrats on your weightloss. That is very impressive. As for your loose skin around your stomach area give it some time. You lost a lot of weight in a short period of time so it might be (if your lucky) time will allow the skin to tighten. I myself also lost a lot of weight over time and three years later I still have a lot of loose skin on my stomach area. Guys in the gym get a kick out of the fact that I have striations in my shoulders yet still have a "beer gut". However, I am still after my six pack. I tested at 7% in March and hope to continue to improve over time. As a last resort I have been told that I will have to have a "tummy tuck" to ever really be rid of all the loose skin. But lets hope that over time your skin will tighten and that six pack will be right around the corner. Just keep working hard and don't give up
If we only knew about this when we were fat! I went from 45 to 32.5 (day of show) and basically have the same issue. The body is pretty amazing, I had the loose skin all the way up to the day before my last show, then when I woke up the day of the show after dropping some water, I did my final measurement and it was 32.5 and the loose skin had tightened up and looked good....for one day. As soon as I went back to normal eating and water management, the skin filled up again.
I am hoping over time it will look a little better during the off-season.

I've lost a bit of weight myself and started noticing the same problem a few months back. I asked a guy at the gym and he suggested swimming. I started hitting the pool at the gym 2 times a week for just about 25 minutes or so. Long enough to get in and walk for a moment to get used to the temp and then on to do 20-30 laps and it seems to be minimizing the loose skin problem.
I don't know if this would work for everyone and it hasn't completely CURED my problem but it definately sped up the tightening process in my case.
Just a humble suggestion.

I also have lost a lot of weight and need some advice on firming up my upper arms, inter thighs, and lower stomach.
