Hi all, Just wanted to thank all on the board for keeping me inspired. I posted a while back about being down and out with L3 back surgery. I was sent to doctor after doctor for about 5 weeks before they finally did an emergency milogram only to show L3 was sheered from the vertibrea resulting in emergency surgery. I lost a total of 25 lbs. But thats all behind me now I'm writing now because things are going well. My surgery was 7 weeks ago and I,ve gained most of my weight back, except for my legs, which I,m having a hard time with being there was alot of nerve damage in the left leg . But all in all I'm pleased with my comeback. I allready have my sights set on 2 NPC shows in april and may. If my partner doesn,t kill me first. ( just kidding KW ) Thanks again everyone its great to be back!

Hey Bob, that's great news!
I am also familiar with the ravages of back surgery. We may have touched on that a bit.

Take it slow, but don't quit! You have the heart of a lion and a champion, with a long competitive career ahead of you. After all, you're only a Master's competitor Smile

BTW, what 2 NPC shows are you competing in?

At least it'll give me the early heads up on what shows to avoid in '04 Wink

Aram, Good to here from you! Yes we did talk awhile ago about bad backs, by the way how is yours feeling? You gave me some encouraging words back then as well as now and thats what I was talking about in my post about being inspired by the board and you, those are the contributing factors that drive me forward in my neverending quest to be a champion. The NPC shows I'm doing are in N.C., I moved here last year from N.Y. The first is th NPC METROLINA, and in May the NPC GOLDS CLASSIC. If things go good then I'll do the State Masters. Then the one I'm really looking forward to is the NBI NY STATE., Thats where I was headed for this year before my back went POP. That would be my first time back to NY in 2 1/2 years. Did you pick out your shows for 04? It would be awsome if you went back up to the Bardivon in Pough. By the way thanks for your post on the muscle synergy and your diet plan with the M.M. and 100% egg, I'm going to give it a try.
