I am commercial developer and work has gotten increasingly busier and busier, which is good. However, I still work out 4~5 days per week but my pumps are not as tight and my hunger drive has decreased. I know stress plays a major part but time seems not to be on my side.
I take supplements but I like Beverly products better than others. My question, what supplement can I take to substitue mid morning and day meals? Muscle Provider or Ultimate Protein or Ultra size or mass maker? I am a former bodybuilder so dieting and eating right is always in my diet, I just need a supplement to help me gain and keep my weight (225). Just a little help would be much appreciated. J. |

Welcome to the board Jason,
It all depends on what type of meal you want to replace. Just take a look at the macronutrients of said meal and choose your powder accordingly. Possibly adding some fats or carbs to the powders. Generally, UMP and Ultra size will probally be better suited as meal replacements, because they are digested slowly. I like the idea of making a big shake of Muscle Provider/UMP or Ultra Size(like 4 scoops MP/2 UMP) and chipping away at that throughout the day. I've never done this personally, but if time is a factor, this seems very logical to me. That way, you're slow feeding your body throughout the day when you can't get whole food meals in, and being too hungry to comsume this isn't even an issue since you're using it in small doses all day.

if you make a large shake to sip on during the day, dont use the new vanilla Muscle provider, as the pepzyme will break down the protein in the mixed drink and possibly leave a disagreeable taste in your mouth.
i would use chocolate MP if i made a huge shake to sip on Joe Daniels Daniels Fitness Training NSCA-CPT, NASM-CPT Anytime Fitness WILDER, KY 859 442-7888 http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/jdanielsNASMCPT/ www.myspace.com/buildingjdaniels |
