Trying to figure out what Amino's to use and when in the off season. I currently use Mass with every meal and Muscle Mass during training. Any suggestions? I am interested in not only maintaining a pretty lean physique but also building some additional size. Also, what would you suggest to be main supp staples for off season. I utilize Ultra 40 as well with each meal. Do you think I should incorporate Lean Out and GH Factor or those can pretty much just be used for contest prep. I MAY do a show in the Fall but undecided at the moment.
Tessa...I think what you are doing is fine. Mass Aminos are good year round, they help complete the protein profile of the whole foods you are taking in. You can use Muscle Mass or Muscularity during training any time. BCAA's are generally more important pre-contest as you need them to feul the system when your calories are restricted.
Myself, I try to budget a little. I am doing some Lean Out now, but primarily the staples are MM & MP, U40's, Super Pak, and Mass Aminos (using creatine and glutamine from another source) although I may cycle in some creatine select here and there. Over the past 3-4 months I started stocking up on Synergy (I bought one with each order). Now I am starting to do that for a couple months.
That's a little bit about what I am doing.

Tessa, you are doing something right.. you looked awesome in the pics from the N. KY! Congrats again.. As Dwayne stated, I use Mass and U-40's year round as my staples. I will also take Mass off season during lifts - but I change to Muscle Mass/Muscularity pre-contest. On building size, I agree with adding the Synergy,.. it's an awesome product and I will take it off season.
A question for you - if you don't mind. How much cardio did you do for your show? I think we have a very similar body-type and you were dry and ripped for your show. Did you also do the prescribed Bev pre-contest prep for final week? Potassiu/sodium, carb-up meal Thursday are limit water? Sorry to pick your brain on the site. I'm done! Valarie

Hi Valarie~ I didn't do the potassium loading for the show. I tried that the first time around and it worked well but my boyfriend made a few alterations this time. I water loaded Sunday thru Thursday before the show, almost 3 gallons a day then on Friday I just took in water with supps, I was doing the lean ground beef and 1/2 grapefruit with each meal on Friday and the grapefruit helped quench thirst. I carbed up on Wednesday only. 6oz sweet potato, 4oz banana and 1/2 cup oatmeal. Cardio, well I hit it pretty hard the last 2 weeks, I tried to burn at least 500-600 calories a day 5-6 days a week. No need to apologize for asking questions, I'm glad to help if I can.
Tessa.. Thanks for your input! I hope you are eating lots and enjoying REAL food. Good luck in your off season. Stay on cloud nine for as long as you can.. bask in your accomplishment!!

Had a blood test done doctor said my BUN (uratic nitrogen) was high. said(which I dooubt) that I eat too much protien. My question is, would taking Mass aminos further elevate my N2?
