Hey everybody...I had a question that concerns my fiance. We have a little friendly competition going. She has a bunch of weddings to go to this summer and wants to look like a knockout in a black dress. I think that she looks great already but what do I know, lol. Anyway, my question is what workout splits have the women found to be most effective as far as fatloss and definition. She is 5'4" ish 135lbs and is an exercise science graduate from college. She is looking to lose about 10-20 lbs before june 2007. She has a few years experience weight lifting and loves cardio (she was a soccer player). Also, what supps do you think would be the most beneficial for her. Just wanted to see what all the ladies had to say...but men, feel free to comment and help out also. Thanks in advance Smile

The only thing I can suggest is 2 days of leg training, 4 days of Cardio training, 4 days of ab training and 2 days of arms in one week. I train my legs every 2 days so sometimes it'll be 3 days per week depending on the days. I train my abs 4 times per week and my chest, tri's and bi's 2 times per week and back 1 time per week. I do cardio in between it all and equals to 4 times per week. Hope that gets her started.

Jon, Here are a couple of articles I would suggest in getting her started. With her background both as an athlete and exercise science major, she should know what it takes as far as intensity to acheive her goals. Hope this helps.

Thank you SMILEY and 4U2NV for your help. I checked out the articles and they had some great info...especially about the HIIT cardio. I believe it because last year I dieted down for vacation and lost about 14 lbs doing low intensity cardio...however my strength went way down. I think that I might give the interval training a try also. Ill let you guys know how everything goes and thans again for your input Smile
