Hey everyone, I am competing in my first figure competition in 4.5 weeks, Oct. 21st to be exact. According to a nine site skinfold my bf is 16.2 and all of the fat that I am still holding is in my triceps and legs. My boyfriend keeps telling me to relax and that it will all come together but I am wondering if it will happen in the next four weeks. I really dont want to get on stage if I dont look good the way that I would like to look. Any advice, words of wisdom, or inspiration would be great. Thanks so much!

Jessie- I will be competng for the first time too on Oct.28th. Remember this is your first competition! I am no expert on dieting or training to get you where you want to be...so here is just a little bit of inspiration (hopefully!). You still have time to lower your bf but if it ends up not quite where you want it-which c'mon are we ladies ever happy?-think of it as "Room for improvement" for your NEXT one!!! Its our first one-we cannot expect everything to be perfect! Use this competition as a starting point-make it your next goal to improve from here!!! Keep your eye on the prize and don't give up! You have come this far-you can do this! Good luck-hope this helped a little!!!!
Jessie, Anybody that knows me, knows that I know EXACTLY how you feel. My show is Oct. 14. My BF is a bit higher than yours, and I have been worried sick. I have had a lot to contend with. But, I have learned a lot along the way. One thing being that my body can only do what it can do...and there is not much I can change about that, except follow the program to the letter. Be patient. It WILL come together for you. Have faith. Stay positive. You have plenty of time. This is a journey...sit back, and enjoy the ride. I am trying to teach MYSELF that! Best wishes to you. I know that you will do great! Heather
