Question: Do figure woman such as Adela Garcia, Monica Brant, Jen Hendershott, or Jenny Lynn,(I saw them all in person at the Arnold) use steroids or some sort of performance enhancing drugs to attain their physiques? I'm just curious because they have some major muscle definition and I'm wondering if it's attainable for a natural competitor.
Id bet some do/have used mild things like anavar, but they all work consistently and this is a career for the women you named, so imagine being able to eat and diet as your career, over time the more shows and diets you do the leaner you stay.
Is that attainable for the natural athlete, I say yes. Go to www.theocbwebsite.com and check out some of the natural competitors on the forums. These women have passed numerous polys and urine tests. Many of them maintain abs all year long.
Its just about consistency and genetics help too, but without diet and consistency genetics mean nothing.
Very true, this is their profession and they're more than likely getting paid big bucks (endorsements) to look the way they do, which I must say, is amazing. It's probably also safe to assume that they have trainers, nutritionists, coaches,..etc..I was just curious. Someday mayyyybe I'll be where they are! Thanks for your input Jason!
I know Beth Horn, Tanji Johnson and Julie Lohre are all lifetime natural competitors. I have talked to Tanji and Julie on several occasions and am super amazed at their physiques. What I have come to understand is there is really no on or off season for many of the natural pros. They work hard on and off season on their diet. Julie even did it all after having a baby! So to answer your question, YES it is possible.
