Hello I just received the new issue of the no nonsense magazine and had some questions pertaining to the 42-day training program. On day three(shoulder/arms)after the push/pull series it has some more sets containing 3way db raises,db curls, triceps presses..are these also super sets? If so how much time between sets? Are they straight sets? If so how much time between these sets? Thanks in advance..

Nado,
Each is a superset. DB Lateral is bent for 5, front for 5, and lateral for 5 then rest. Same with curls and triceps. Essentially they are 15 rep sets each broken into 3, 5 rep movements. Do all 3 movements for 5 reps and then rest. CR |

My thanks to Roger for a wonderful program. I am in the second week of the 42 Day Leg Specialization and I gotta tell you....it is kick butt to say the least and coupled with my meal plans and BI Supps, I feel myself getting stronger!

Looks like an interesting routine. I work rotating shifts so I can't always follow a set schedule. Just wondering how necessary it is to workout 3 days in a row and have a day off then take two days off after the heavy leg workout?

To achieve maximum results it is important to train 4 days per week, with two days off after your Heavy Leg Day. Two days rest after the heavy leg day allows you to recover properly and grow. It would not be really detrimental to your overall success to take the rest day between days 2&3 instead of day 4.
