I just wanted to say thank you to the members on here who have helped with my questions I had and information during my contest training. I really appreciate it and it helped a great deal.

I also wanted to say thank you to Beverly and their staff for putting on such a well run and organized show. The Northern was my first competition and everything was very smooth for a first timer. I was very comfortable, knew where I was supposed to be, and there were plenty of friendly staff to answer any questions and help us out during the show. Staff working the oiling area was a great perk too. All of the information provided including the contest guides and documentation from Beverly lead to my success. Beverly is first class!

I won 1st place in Men's Novice Middleweight
I also won Men's Novice Overall!!!!

Not bad for a 39 year old, eh?

I'm definitely planning on competing at the Northern next year, and see how I'll do in the Open
