Ok I am going to say something controversial but I have been on this board from its inception. Although I have not posted a lot I lurk quite often.
Yes ago (perhaps when I was an employee and doing nutritional consulting) it seemed like this board was all about the Beverly Supplements and helping people to use the supplements more efficiently. Now granted I do some posting about the products but I have noticed the focus starting to shift from Beverly. This being a Beverly website I thought I would try and get some Beverly discussion going. Who has questions about the Beverly supplements in general or specifically? Remember that if you have a question chances are hundreds of people who come to this board have the same question. Although we see many of the same people post, more people look at the board and read the info than those who actually post. I am as guilty as anyone for using this board for personal gain but lets get back to the reason for the creation of this board and that is the supplements. I for one love the improvements to UMP Chocolate and Cookies, the taste is much improved! Back in the day I used to take a lot of Mass Aminos during training (esp when trying to build muscle and when on a higher calorie diet), lets hear some of your tricks or questions about Beverly. I actually can't wait to begin adding calories because I am going to go back to taking Mass during training. Did you know that back in 2000 I used to take 40 during training and on the bodyparts I was trying to bring up I would take 60 during training on those days. In fact I would take 40 Muscle Mass during training when prepping for a show. Back in those days I literally worked for supplements! Ask Roger and Sandy, I would tally my supplements I used and literally we would trade out work for supplements. Ah the good old days of no responsibility and living to train. Ok your guys turn, anyone have any good Beverly stories or questions? Jeremiah Forster 10+ years Devoted Beverly User |

Something Im doing now, just started it though last week is the following: 4 lean out 10 gh 10 density 4-5 synergy all during training. Gonna see how that goes for me. Ive tightened the diet and want to see how this stack works in conjunction with dropping my carbs a tad bit. Jason Theobald |

Looking to shred body fat a keep/gain lean muscle. Male/30years old/5'9/205lbs(yay-almost ten pounds down)....Cardio daily and lifting 3-4 times a week. What do we suggest for a slow metabolism guy on sups..Currenty on last couple packs of Myoplex Original and only other thing I take is No-Xplode before workouts when I feel sluggish.
Thankx, Ben |

Ben,
Are you familiar with the Beverly product line? With any goal the basics are always the best place to start. Master the basics and you will succeed! Basic Beverly products are Super Pak, Ultra 40, Ultimate Muscle Protein, Muscle Synergy and Density (which is my favorite). Super Pak with breakfast. Ultra with meals (3 to 4 with each meal) Density with meals (2 to 3 with meals) Muscle Synergy (8 / twice per day) UMP (as a meal replacement) Obviously there are several other supplements that would work great but the above can work with any goal that you may have. Post a bit more feedback and maybe we can help more specifically. Jeremiah Forster 10+ years Devoted Beverly User |

I agree with Jeremiah - I especially like the Muscle Synergy. It should really help with the muscle retention/gain. I also suggest trying the Uplift in place of the No-Xplode - it's great because Uplift will give you that kick for your workout but there are no stimulants like caffeine (which no-xplode has). 7-keto is great too, but I really only recommend it if you've got a solid meal plan to go with it. |

Steph,
Great suggestion. I get excited about the other supps and always forget something. Great point about Up-Lift. Synergy before training with Uplift, Wow now that is a combo! Synergy + Uplift before training = skin ripping pumps and super intensity training + great recovery! Jeremiah Forster 10+ years Devoted Beverly User |

I take Mass, Ultra 40's, and GH Factor as we speak. I am not doing any shows. I just wanted to perform better on the ball fields. Love Beverly Supps. Trying to put back some money so I can get back on the UMP. Can't right now with the economy.

This kind of aggressive supplementation falls in line with how I like to do things with Beverly supps. BTW great to see you post, Jeremiah! Here is what I did for my last show, where I won the Masters, and Master's overall. I came in at 3.47% bodyfat on a 9 site caliper, at age 50. PRE- 12 Synergy, 2 GHF, 2 Energy Reserve INTRA- 4 scoops Glutamine Select, 10 Muscularity, 2 GHF, 2 Energy Reserve POST- 12 synergy, 2 GHF, 2 Energy Reserve, 10 Muscularity For the past 6 weeks here is what I've been doing. I began at 148 lbs @ 5.35 and now I am 150 lbs @ 5.13% PRE- 8 Synergy, 10 Mass Amino, 6 LO INTRA- 4 scoops Glutamine Select, 6 Energy Reserve, 6 GHF, 10 Mass Amino POST- 8 Synergy, 10 Mass Amino, 10 Muscularity I take no Postworkout shake, and have my post workout meal an hour and a half after my PWO supps. Beverly's supps are the best in the world, bar NONE. I also believe that glutamine is a more effective cell volumizer than creatine, hence the 4 scoops during training. Pumps are off the charts nuts! Unfortunately, that might be an accurate guess, LOL. I've told people again and again, that if I was not a competitive bodybuilder, I would NEVER have gone on outright aggressive cutting/bulking cycles. I would simply have gone 100-200 calories over maintenance to add lean mass, then if I wanted to drop some bodyfat, I would simply alter the carb macro's while eating at maintenance. Consistant, regular cycles of cutting and bulking can wreck havoc with the hormonal system. IMHO Aram N. Hamparian Pro Natural Bodybuilder |

With our bodytypes do you really think we could add LBM 100-200 calories past maintenance? But I know what you mean once Im done competing my diet will be designed to remain lean year after year, but when Ill be done I dont know. Jason Theobald |

Yes, I believe it is entirely possible. Gains won't be as rapid, but expect a steadier increase throughout the months, years, etc. You will build a foundation which becomes more rock solid, and not easily lost with all the cutting cycles. Aram N. Hamparian Pro Natural Bodybuilder |
