Vitamin D

As many may already be aware of, vitamin D deficiency is quite common now days. After personally experiencing nagging, recurring symptoms in 2010, I ended up finding that my level of vit. D was low. This was in July, so I imagine it was even lower earlier in the Winter/Spring.

My symptoms were primarily muscle weakness, fatigue and most notably adrenal insufficiency. This was the strange one as it left me very lethargic, sometimes into the following day, after I attempted to use pre-workout supplements that had been staples.

I have used Super Pak for 3 years, so it seems evident that, at least for me, adequate sun exposure is critical. I was tested and have no issues with the absorption of vit D and was able to increase levels with adding an additional 3,000 iu / day.

I'm curious to hear if anyone else has had similar symptoms in the case that they also had low D. What do you guys think about cod liver oil for it's vitamin A & D content?

Ryan,

Yea I can definatly relate. I'm a big sun guy. I love the sun,the warmth and the energy from it. I definatly feel down in general, and not as active, or strong in the winter months. I try to lay in the Tanning bed for a bit of energy, and relaxation, and just to revive my soul. Sometime you can just stare out a window and soak it up...
