i realy do like boiled eggs, but that is with lots of salt on them . Do any of you guys know of any thing else to put on them to take the place of salt .While we are on the subject of boiled eggs i have proven method to boil them ahd the shells just about fall off. First set the eggs out that you are going to boil . Bring a pot of water to a bubbleing boil. Now with a large spoon ease the eggs into the water to keep them from cracking.now turn down the heat but keep them boiling. Thats it, rinse under cold water .

I find pepper works well as a substitute.

Rachel your comment got me to thinking about the pepper. I do use black pepper on my eggs also so i took things a step futher .Since black pepper comes from a corn it is kind of like wood .However cayenne pepper is a veggie witch is better , i mixed a bottle with 1 third salt and 2 thirds pepper. That mix should cut my salt by quite a bit .Thanks for the spark that started me thinking
