I have done a search on the forum, but I cannot find out how/exactly where you measure a few of the bodyfat testing sites. I assume for the bicep and calf it is a vertical fold in the middle of the muscle. Is this correct and where do you do the kidney and in what direction?

I am new to this site and Beverly in general. I have ordered ultra 40 and mass aminos and plan on ordering a protein powder soon. I am currently using myoplex as I had made the order before finding Beverly. Unfortunately, it and most other protein powders I have used cause some bloating. From personal experience, has this happened to anyone using any of the Beverly proteins? I am planning on trying out Ultimate Muscle Protein as it seems to fit my needs better.

Thanks

you're right about the bicep, its mid muscle belly and vertical. on the calf, usually the client will spike thier foot and lean on the opposite leg, the pinch is taken on the outer portion of the calf. the pinch is taken vertical or slightly slanted.

I've never had problems with the protein powders or U40's or Mass Aminos, but I cannot take Lean Out at all.

Where do you take the kidney measurement? I assume on the back at kidney level and taken vertically. Is this correct?

Thanks

Here you go...it is messy as I cut it from Excel.....Enjoy!

Site: Description
Chest: a DIAGONAL fold on the lateral edge of the pectoral muscle,
halfway between the ****** and the anterior axillary line (front of
underarm crease). The fold should be parallel to the edge of the
pectoral muscle.
Abdomen: a VERTICAL fold one inch to the right of the umbilicus.
Thigh: a VERTICAL fold in the middle of the front thigh, halfway between hip and knee joints.
Triceps:a VERTICAL fold halfway between the shoulder and elbow joints, on the posterior midline of the upper arm (over the tricep muscle).

Biceps: a VERTICAL fold halfway between the shoulder and elbow joints, on the anterior midline of the upper arm.

Subscapular: a DIAGONAL fold at the back, just below the inferior angle of the scapula(shoulder blade), at a 45° angle WRT horizontal,
turning clockwise.

Suprailiac: a DIAGONAL fold just above the iliac crest (front-side top tip of hip bone), at about 30° angle WRT horizontal, turning clockwise.
Axilla: a VERTICAL fold on the midaxillary line (below the armpit) at the level of the ******.
Calf: a VERTICAL fold in the middle of the medial head of the gastrocnemius.

Lower back: a HORIZONTAL fold approximately at the position of the kidney (about 2 inches to the right of the spine, and 1 inch above the umbilicus level).
