It has been over ten years since I have visited the doctor and had a complete physical. Worries, little things hurting, headaches, etc. Some cousins and family members have died from cancer.

So, two weeks ago, I decided it is time to face the music. MRI/CAT scans, blood work, neck scans, heart scans, I signed up for the WORKS! I got my phone call Monday that the doc needs to see me and he would not discuss it over the phone. Of course, I feared the worst because my lower GI was and has been giving me problems.

Today, he broke the news to me. Blood, heart, neck, lower GI is good. I still should have a colonoscopy, but it is not stat at this time. Bad news: Nodule in left lung. For me, that was the best news for now. Doc said not to be alarmed as of yet because blood work/urine showed nothing to correspond to the nodule being something bad. Yet, going to exercise precaution.

It is nearly impossible to control heredity, but it just thankful that I ran into Beverly nearly 10 years ago and 2001, became a member of their discussion board. Learning to be a body builder and health-minded led to one thing from the doctor. He complimented me on what I've been doing and rarely has seen someone over 50 come in and have the results I did with excellent blood work, blood pressure and a good conditioned heart.

I'd like to point out, while everything on here has not always been strictly Beverly, it has been an EXCELLENT source of information from the likes of Fitdoc, ChunkyButt, Jason, Aram, and many others that share information and some serious knowledge. I hope many others have been able to utilize the board for that very same reason and hope Roger will allow this to continue.

Just a word of advice: Body building is a fun, exciting sport. Live your life to enjoy bodybuilding but don't lose your life for it. Life is short, don't make it shorter.

THANKS ROGER!

Frank, I am sure everything is going o be fine. Smile

I know that sometimes concerns such as what you are going through are real, and thought provoking. Have confidence in your healthy lifestyle, family support, and your ongoing dedication with Beverly. Trust me, my friend, you are way beyond the average everyday person trying to find balance without training, proper nutrition, awareness, and the ability to administer the day in, day out determination and consistency necessary to stay one step above the rest. Please let us know how you eventually triumph over this minor detour. Cool

While that message posted may seem like gloom and depression, my feeling is far from that! I'm actually, thanking you guys for sharing hard earned information in which, I in turn, do the same.

I have always tried to have a healthy lifestyle. I believe I would not have achieved the amount of information and level of health had it not been for my first competition back in 2000.

A positive attitude is just like laughter, THE BEST MEDICINE!

There is nothing that can keep YOU down Big Man! I wouldn't worry about that nodule my man, as the doctor said, all other test results were well within normal range...

...Except for the amount of gas produced in your colon from your Organic Whole Milk escapades Smile

Keep up the positive attitude and keep looking forward! You and many others have given me great advice and motivation! I guess it is true when they say that deep down, everyone has a story, therefore, never judge a prson with your eyes open, as it will mislead you!

I do not post alot but whenever I want to read something positive, I come here to the boards as we are an elite bunch jus livin the dream and backing it up by action!

Thanks goes out also to Roger, Sandy and the Beverly crew for standing behind a second to none product ad service!
