I'm 61 and take 2-3 scoops every workout. Up-Lift is amazing for me and I guess I qualify as an older lifter.

I am sure that when Rachel and Steven see this post they will respond asp.

IMHO, with Bev's outstanding reputation for safe and exceptional quality products, I cannot imagine that they would produce or market a product that is age specific. And at the very young age of 50 or so, I think that you will be very happy with the results that you achieve with the Uplift. It helped me power through workouts with a mere 1200 cals/50g carb diet. It turned me into a furnace too. LOVED IT!!!! I don't take it anymore now that I am off season though. Gotta minimize those supp costs when I can.

I have to believe it's safer for you than most pre-workout drinks that are loaded with caffeine and/or other stimulants. I actually forgot to bring mine today and am not happy!

I gotta agree here, try the stuff, you wont be sorry. I find though I need to go to 3 scoops for me personally. Two is good, but 3 rocks.

Not to rain on the parade or anything and this may be totally off topic... but did anybody else "break-out" while on Up-Lift??? I admit that I'm a little "metro" when it comes to some stuff, and breaking out is a major NO NO to me!! Anything that makes me break out, goes on back on the shelf IMMEDIATELY LOL!!

...but for real, did anyone else experience this?? I wonder if it has to do with the Beta-alanine or L-Citruline?

I NEVER BROKE OUT WHEN I WAS TAKING UPLIFT. BEFORE MY MOST RECENT SHOW, I WAS EVEN TAKING UP TO 5 SCOOPS A DAY! 2 PRIOR TO LIFTING, 2 DURING AND 1 SCOOP WITH GLUTAMINE WHILE POSING AT NIGHT!! I LOVE THE STUFF!

I'm over 40 and used to compete. I started working out in the morning so I would have more time for family. It was rough going at first, but I'm used to it now. The downside is that I started taking one of the "other company" (pick one) pre-workout boosters loaded with caffeine and other stims. I feel pretty good while I'm there and enjoy the workout, but when the weekend comes and I don't go to the gym (and more importantly, don't take that stuff), I drag a$$ big-time. I feel terrible! I used to take Synergy when it contained Tyrosine so I figured I could try that combo or Uplift. I have to believe that those "other products" can't be that great if they make me feel so awful when not taking them.
(This all started before Uplift came out, btw)
