Hello, I'm new here. I love the Beverly products and the newsletters. I have one question (did a search but couldn't find definitive answer). I'm not a big fan of oatmeal (never have been). Could I substitute (on some days) brown rice, black beans, or maybe even a couple of slices of Ezekiel bread for my morning portion? If there is something "magical" about Oatmeal, I will eat it, but...
Thanks!

Go to the "Beverly's Frequently Asked Questions" section right here at the top of the discussion board. View the master food lists and substitute away. There's a wealth of knowledge a pointers there to be had.

BTW, have you ever mixed UMP Vanilla or Muscle Provider in your oatmeal? I think you may change your feeling about oatmeal if you do.

I have not. I'm supposing that you mix it in and then cook it? Also, would it be feasible to blend oatmeal into a protein drink? If so, would it be better to cook it first? I have tried it raw, and it seems to settle at the bottom before I can drink it all. Thanks for your help.
I'm finally getting the dietary part of my bodybuilding efforts together. I have seriously trained for decades, but never really stuck with the diet. When I was younger, I was cut without it, but now, it's essential, and so... I have a lot of questions.
