MAN! I just HAD to share this with all of you. From the veterans, to get some possible feedback on weak areas and improve my physique - I know that my lat spread is WEAK and that is a key area to work on - but for those just starting or sitting on the fence, to say GET OFF THE FENCE and jump on the BEVERLY PLAN now! This is just 8 weeks I have been on the plan, and these results have blown me away.

I gave my background in other posts but I have been as heavy as 245 with a 42 inch waist and as light as 178 with a 32 inch waist.

Just 8 weeks ago I decided I was going to compete early in 2004 and called up the experts to help me out. I can tell you in 8 weeks of following their regimen 100% (okay, so I added some extra peanut butter to a few Ultra Size shakes) I am up from 178 to 189 pounds and still under 10% body fat. It rocks! Here is a link to my pictures (8 week before/afters).

I AM STOKED! Can't wait to see what the next 8 weeks will bring!

Wow, Jeremy. You look great. Abs are still nice and sharp so I'd have to say it's a muscle gain!

Good job!

Awesome progress.

From what I see you are right you need more lats.

Ill tell you what I did to really improve on mine. I began every back day with pullups for 50 reps. Dont worry about sets, just do as many as it takes to get 50 pullups all the way up to chin above the bar and a good stretch at the bottom. I would then follow these up with heavy rack deads. These are where you rest the bar on a squat rack, I put the pin low as I can, but Im short, and then just do a dead lift. You can really move alot of weight. I found this combination to better than anything else Ive ever done for back.

As for the pics, the legs are the strong point. Arms really grew from the before pics to the after, but they still need to be bigger to match those legs. Chest has a ton of potential, do you ever do slow weighted dips for chest. I think this would help that outter chest on that side chest shot. Looks like there isnt as much muscle by the ******.

Bring these areas up and you will be even more impressive for sure. Great progress.

Jason, thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to give me such detailed advice! It is funny you mention that for the lats. This training cycle I actually have a balance between chest and lats using dips and pull-ups. I intend to do 25 week 1, 50 week 2, 75 week 3, and 100 week 4 of those (they are on separate days of training).

I am also blasting my arms like there is no tomorrow. I actually took squats out for a short cycle because I was tired of my legs growing faster than the rest of me, but I just don't like keeping squats and deads out for too long because they help my entire body - so they are back in for this cycle.

We'll see what we see!

Jeremy
